Home Emergency Cover is a practical way of having effective protection against household problems which, though common, are not always covered by standard Home insurance.

  • Emergency cover for the loss of essential services to your home
    • Failure of gas or electricity within your property
    • Blocked drains
    • Water problems within the property e.g. burst pipes
    • Loss of main source of hot water or of heating
    • Loss of all keys needed to get into Your Home (excluding garages and outbuildings)
    • Blocked toilets
    • Roofing e.g. leaking roof
    • Broken or damaged windows and doors that are a security risk
    • any time 29 days after the start date of this insurance
  • Up to £500 per incident for repairs and labour
  • Up to £100 limit for temporary accommodation if you can't stay in your home overnight
  • No excess and no maximum number of claims annually
